In March of the current year, employees of the supervision and prevention inspectorate of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted monitoring visits to the educational institutions "Matyrinsky, Chereyshchinsky, Borovsky, Yurkovshchinsky, Gorsky, Domzheritsky, Staysky, Polsvizhsky Kindergartens of Lepel District".
Overall, the management and officials of the educational institutions comply with the requirements of fire safety legislation. No regulatory violations were identified during the monitoring visits. Employees possess safety information and know their actions in case of an emergency.
However, in the "Staysky Kindergarten of Lepel District" located at 11 Shkolnaya Street, Stai village (Headmistress – Mishkorudnaya Larisa Ivanovna), violations of fire safety legislation were identified, specifically concerning the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises, and Other Objects Belonging to Business Entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of 23.11.2017 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship". These violations included:
- A faulty fire extinguisher was installed in the laundry room (manometer readings did not comply with current technical regulatory legal acts), as per clause 54 of Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of 23.11.2017.
Following the monitoring visits, on 19.03.2019, Mishkorudnaya Larisa Ivanovna was issued recommendations for the elimination of the identified violation.
On 22.03.2019, this violation was rectified. This indicates that the headmistress and the official took the fulfillment of the requirements of the technical regulatory legal acts of the fire safety standardization and regulation system seriously, are implementing fire safety measures at an appropriate level, and are aware of the potential severe consequences of non-compliance.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire prevention regime within their respective organizations.
