In March of the current year, inspectors of the supervision and prevention department of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring visit to the "Drazhno" branch of CJSC "Vitebskagropromproduct".
During the inspection, it was established that the facility had violations of fire safety norms and rules: the possibility of free opening of locks (latches) on evacuation doors from the inside without a key was not ensured on all evacuation routes, and the petrol station lacked the required number of primary fire extinguishing means.
Following the monitoring results, recommendations for rectifying the violations were issued to the management.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations are responsible for ensuring fire safety and the fire prevention regime within their respective organizations.
