In February of the current year, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations completed selective inspections of OJSC "Lepelpromshveymebel" and OJSC "Lyadno".

During the work carried out, it was established that violations of fire safety legislation were identified at the facilities, namely: "General fire safety requirements for the maintenance and operation of capital structures (buildings, structures), isolated premises and other facilities owned by business entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of 23.11.2017 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship", specifically:
- the general fire safety instruction has not been revised, clause 7 of the Decree "General fire safety requirements for the maintenance and operation of capital structures (buildings, structures), isolated premises and other facilities owned by business entities" Appendix 3 to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of 23.11.2017 (hereinafter referred to as the Decree);
- training of employees according to fire safety minimum programs has not been organized;
- stands with fire safety information are absent;
- combustible materials are stored in fire breaks between buildings and structures;
- free access for emergency rescue vehicles to the sewing workshop building is not ensured.
Administrative building: Lepel, Volodarskogo St., 1:
- in the boiler room, the business entity has not determined the explosion and fire hazard categories;
- the boiler room is not equipped with the necessary number of primary fire extinguishing means, in accordance with Appendix 8 to the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus of 18.05.2018 No. 35.
Sewing workshop building: Lepel, Volodarskogo St., 1:
- inspection of the internal fire water supply system is not carried out;
- a door leaf is missing in the doorway on the second and third floors (as provided for by the design documentation);
- fire evacuation plans for people from the building have not been developed in accordance with the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus of 20.04.2018 No. 21;
- locks (latches) on doors located on evacuation routes do not allow for free opening from the inside without a key;
- a device for lowering finished products is installed on evacuation routes within the staircase, obstructing safe evacuation;
