The fight against corruption is one of the priority areas of activity for the prosecutor's office.
A significant portion of corruption offenses continue to be committed in the fields of construction, education, trade, and agriculture.
In the first half of 2022, the Prosecutor's Office of Lepel District conducted 3 inspections for compliance with anti-corruption legislation, resulting in 5 supervisory acts being issued. For example, based on the prosecutor's orders, procurement procedures conducted by the "Lepel Central District Hospital" Healthcare Institution, the "Lepel State Agrarian-Technical College" Educational Institution, and the "Lepel Psychiatric Hospital" Healthcare Institution were cancelled due to legislative violations. The use of budget funds in violation of legislation amounting to a total of 130,172.05 rubles was prevented.
Numerous violations were identified in the PMK (Melioration and Construction Department) and the Education Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee.
It should be noted that the most common violations of anti-corruption legislation include: failure to sign a written commitment to comply with restrictions provided for by anti-corruption legislation, violations of procedures for preventing and resolving conflicts of interest, as well as procedures for the procurement of goods (works, services).
As a result of the review of prosecutorial supervision acts, 8 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility, and 3 procurement procedures for goods (works, services) were cancelled.
