As a result of an inspection conducted on 26.09.2022 at SPF "Zaiozerie" of OJSC "Vitebsky Meat Packing Plant" and OJSC "Lepelagroservis", numerous violations of labour protection legislation were identified.
It was established that employees of these agricultural organisations were not provided with personal protective equipment, and also that faulty equipment, not complying with the requirements of technical legal acts, was used by employees.
Furthermore, during the inspection activities at SPF "Zaiozerie" of OJSC "Vitebsky Meat Packing Plant", numerous violations of property protection legislation, as well as veterinary legislation, were identified. The farm allows cattle to be kept in improper conditions, and does not ensure the identification of livestock in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 15 July 2015 No. 287-Z "On Identification, Registration, Traceability of Products of Animal Origin". Measures are not taken for the timely repair of agricultural machinery.
Following the results of the inspection activities, the Prosecutor of Lepel District submitted 2 submissions to the Department of Agriculture and Food of Lepel District Executive Committee for the elimination of violations, the causes and conditions contributing thereto.
