The meeting was attended by chairmen of rural councils of deputies, heads of services and departments, and other invited guests.
Issues raised by residents of Staysky rural council became central today. Responsible specialists reported on the state of affairs in the following areas: order and improvement, compliance with land legislation, social services for the population, fire safety, and law and order.
The results of meetings and encounters with the population in the territory of this rural council were also discussed. Lighting in the village, the operation of the mobile shop, grading, and pothole repair of roads – these and other issues were raised by residents in conversation with representatives of the authorities.
The agenda also included the issue of implementing the cooperation program between the education department of the Lepel District Executive Committee and the Lepel Deanery of the Vitebsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for 2024-2025 – this was reported by the head of the education department of the district executive committee, Anatoly Karpitsky.
Having heard and discussed the information, the presidium of the district council of deputies noted that targeted work is being carried out in this direction.
A district resource center for the spiritual and moral education of students is functioning, and a district initiative group for the spiritual, moral, and patriotic education of students has been created.
Annually, a number of joint events are held in educational institutions and at the district level: the inter-school Christmas festival "Bethlehem Star," a Christmas volleyball tournament among boys and girls from educational institutions of the district for prizes from the Lepel Deanery, the district stage of the regional competition of artistic creativity "Velikodnaya mazaka," Easter educational readings, and the district stage of the Republican exhibition-competition of decorative and applied arts by students "Kalyadnaya zorka."
At the level of educational institutions, clergy of the Lepel Deanery hold discussions with students and teachers on issues of spiritual and moral education and addiction prevention, and meetings with legal representatives of students on preserving and strengthening traditional family values.
