The State Forestry Institution "Lepel Forest Enterprise" reminds that agricultural fires and the burning of dry vegetation in Belarus are prohibited.
Fires deplete the species composition of meadow vegetation and wildlife.
We urge you to approach the problem of burning dry vegetation with understanding and a sense of duty!
In accordance with Article 16.40 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus, illegal burning of dry vegetation, grass in its natural state, as well as stubble and post-harvest residues in fields, or failure to take measures to extinguish fires on land plots, entails a fine ranging from 10 to 30 base units, and also, according to Art. 16.21 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus, for violation of fire safety requirements in forests or on peatlands, or prohibition of their visit, which did not cause damage, entails a fine of up to 12 base units.
