On the on-site assessment of vehicle conformity

The simplified procedure for assessing vehicles owned by citizens, which were classified as personal mobility devices before September 1, 2025, in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 295 of August 4, 2025, is carried out until September 1, 2026.
To conduct an on-site assessment of vehicle compliance in the regional centres of the Vitebsk region, the vehicle owner must:
1. Contact the regional traffic police department for preliminary registration or call RUP "Vitebsk TsSMS" at 8 (0212) 48-04-06.
2. Agree on the date and place of the assessment with specialists from RUP "Vitebsk TsSMS".
3. During the assessment, the vehicle owner must present an identity document (passport or passport copy) and documents for the device containing its technical characteristics, for the purpose of completing an application and concluding an agreement.
4. After the agreement is concluded, an inspection and measurement of the maximum design speed will be carried out.
5. Based on the results of the vehicle compliance assessment, an act on the determination of compliance with vehicle types will be drawn up.
