On January 16, at approximately 2 AM, the rescue service received a report of a bathhouse fire in the village of Voron, Lepel District.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, open burning of a garage and a bathhouse was observed.

As a result of the fire, the garage was destroyed. Inside the garage, a snowmobile and an all-terrain vehicle were destroyed. The bathhouse roof was destroyed, and ceiling structures and walls were damaged.

The cause of the fire is being established. Considered versions for the cause of the fire include violation of the rules for the operation of electrical networks and electrical equipment.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: the most common causes of electrical wiring fire hazards are overloads and short circuits, leading to fires. Hence, a number of requirements: the type of electrical wiring and its installation method must be chosen correctly (this should be done by an electrical specialist); the type of electrical wiring and the characteristics of the wires, cables, and pipes used must comply with the permissible installation methods on supporting bases and structures; correct selection of electrical protection must also be made; the installation of electrical wiring itself must be carried out by specialists; during the operation of electrical networks, their overloading must not be allowed.

A fire is not an accident! Everyone must understand this and never lose vigilance. Be attentive and careful; in case of a fire, call 101 or 112 immediately. Provide your name, surname, address, and the cause of the emergency, and also report if there are people in the burning premises.
