Amendments have been made to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Military Duty and Military Service", including those concerning the notification of citizens to appear at the military commissariat. Now, Belarusians can receive notifications requiring them to appear at the military commissariat via SMS MESSAGES.

In fact, SMS messages will become an additional notification channel. The summons will still remain the primary one. Currently, each military commissariat has been assigned a so-called alpha name by the telecommunications operator. This name will appear in the sender field. The message will contain information about the address and time at which the citizen should appear.

A phone number for inquiries will also be provided. Please note that messages from the military commissariat do not contain links and do not require a response. The military commissariat also never requests personal or passport data by phone.

We remind you that a summons to the military commissariat, in whatever form it is received, may have various purposes: from clarifying military registration data of a conscript to mobilization readiness activities. In any case, you must appear on time. Failure to appear for a summons, as before, entails administrative and criminal liability. Information on the alpha names of all military commissariats is posted on the website of the Ministry of Defence. (on mil.by, section military commissariats - SMS notification).
