An open regional competition for the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee awards for talented young scientists and specialists is announced.
The annual open regional competition for the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee awards for talented young scientists and specialists is held to stimulate research activities of young scientists and specialists engaged in promising scientific research and development in organisations of the Vitebsk region.
The competition is held in the following categories:
Fundamental research – 3 awards;
Applied research and development – 4 awards, including one award for the best development for achieving results in economy and thrift.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until December 1, 2022.
Participation in the competition is open to Doctors of Science under 45 years of age, Candidates of Science – under 35 years of age, scientists without a degree – under 30 years of age (as of October 1 of the year in which nominations are made), who have at least three scientific publications in journals and collections of scientific works on the topic of the competition work.
Requirements for the оформление of competition works and other rules are set out in the Instructions on the procedure for conducting the competition, approved by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated 14.09.2006 No. 658 (National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2006, No. 176, 9/5449).
