Competition for the Best Goods of Belarus in the Russian Market Announced

April 3, Minsk /Tatyana Grigorovich - BELTA/. A competition for the best goods of Belarus in the Russian market has been announced, BELTA was informed by the press service of the State Committee for Standardization.

The competition "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation Market" is held within the framework of the Union State of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, and the "100 Best Goods of Russia" Program since 2001. During this time, products of more than 700 Belarusian manufacturers have been recognized as laureates.

The aim of the competition is to increase the competitiveness of Belarusian products, the export potential of domestic manufacturers, and to create their high reputation in the Russian market. Legal entities, regardless of ownership, and individual entrepreneurs registered in the prescribed manner in the Republic of Belarus can participate in the competition. Goods nominated for the competition are accepted for consideration provided they have been supplied to the Russian Federation for at least one year.

As noted in the press service, goods can be nominated for the competition in the following categories: food products, industrial goods for the population, folk and handicraft products, industrial products, and services.

Organizations wishing to participate in the competition must submit an application and a set of documents to the secretariat of the competition results commission, formed at the State Committee for Standardization, by July 15 of the current year.

Organizations whose goods are awarded the title of laureate of the competition will receive diplomas and the right to use the competition's mark (logo) on the product and its packaging, label, as well as to use it in documentation and advertising materials.

Information about the laureate goods of the competition and their manufacturers is posted on the websites of the State Committee for Standardization and the "100 Best Goods of Russia" Program (www.100best.ru), as well as in the catalog of the "100 Best Goods of Russia" Program. The catalog is sent to the state administration bodies of the Russian Federation and other interested organizations.-0-
