The event, organised as part of the republican campaign "Our Children", will be held with the participation of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee in the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall. Children from large, low-income families, orphans and children left without parental care, excellent students and activists are invited to the celebration. An excursion around the regional centre and a cultural and entertainment programme on Victory Square will be held for them. Children included in the Vitebsk Region delegation to the republican charity event will also gain a lot of pleasant impressions. A total of 102 teenagers will travel to Minsk, whose achievements in academic and social life are rightfully proud of their educational institutions. Many cities and districts of the Vitebsk Region have already hosted the first charity pre-New Year events for children. However, they will start en masse in the region on December 23: New Year's matinees, performances, festive programmes and discos will be organised in all school and preschool educational institutions. The focus throughout the New Year holidays will also be on the pupils of boarding schools: visits by officials, heads of enterprises and organisations are planned for each of them. In total, over 100,000 children will be covered by the "Our Children" campaign events in the Vitebsk Region, Ivan Shchurok noted. In addition to participating in New Year's celebrations, many children will be able to improve their health in daytime school camps during the winter holidays. A total of over 9,700 children and teenagers are planned to be health-improved in them from December 24 to January 8.
