The laboratory meets all modern requirements and is on par with regional ones. Its modernization was carried out under the "Caring Polyclinic" project. The laboratory includes three rooms: general clinical, biochemical, and hematological, as well as a rest room for medical staff. A total of 8 employees work in the laboratory on a 24/7 basis.
The clinical diagnostic laboratory is located in the former hydrotherapy department, which had not been in operation for over 30 years. The premises themselves required significant repairs. The chief physician of the hospital, Alexey Korotkiy, noted that the majority of the work was carried out by the staff of the healthcare institution. They performed the dismantling themselves, planned the layout, and carried out the repairs. "We have updated the laboratory equipment. The new equipment is more productive. I think that the residents of our district will soon notice and appreciate this," he added, thanking the district administration for financial support in purchasing building materials, and the management of the Dubrovno Flax Mill for sponsorship to strengthen the material and technical base.
The head of the regional health department, Mikhail Vishnevetskiy, noted that the opening of the updated laboratory will be another step towards modernizing healthcare in the Dubrovno district. It will also improve the quality of medical services and enhance working conditions for medical professionals.
