Free educational courses "Vitsebski Ornament" dedicated to the development of the urban community have started in Vitebsk, the organisers informed BELTA.
Course attendees will be introduced to best practices in organising urban events of cultural, social, economic and other orientations. Experts and practitioners from various Belarusian cities will act as lecturers, sharing their experience and providing advice on the course attendees' projects.
After refining their ideas, participants will be able to present them to city services, commercial entities, and public organisations interested in partnership. Such presentations will be held in the "Creative Thursdays" format, which has become traditional for Vitebsk. In 2016, thanks to this format for connecting idea generators and their partners, 15 new projects were implemented, enriching the city's cultural and event landscape.
Anyone can become a student of the "Vitsebski Ornament" courses without any age or prior knowledge restrictions. The classes are open to everyone who, through their involvement in various activities, strives to make the city more comfortable and attractive. Applications are accepted until October 15. The courses are organised by the institution "Vitebsk for me" (Vitebsk4me).
