On March 16, Novopolotsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. For the first time in the Vitebsk region, an educational forum for the region's promising personnel reserve will be held. Today it begins its work in Novopolotsk, BELTA was informed by the press center of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. The promising personnel reserve of the region includes university students and specialists under the age of 31, possessing leadership and organizational skills, and having aptitude for managerial activities. The principles of its formation are laid down in Decree No. 354 "On Work with Managerial Personnel in the System of State Bodies and Other State Organizations" dated July 26, 2004. The fundamental difference between this reserve and the reserve of managerial personnel is that the latter includes already established managers. The promising personnel reserve consists of those who are just discovering their potential as future leaders. Initially, lists of promising personnel are formed at the level of state bodies and organizations: ministries, committees, regional executive committees, and concerns. Thanks to the diversity and variety of these organizations, the composition of the promising personnel reserve is characterized by multidisciplinary expertise, adherence to gender balance, and a high level of education. In turn, the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus forms a consolidated database – the Unified Promising Personnel Reserve of the Republic. The main goal of the forum will be the training, development of leadership qualities, managerial skills, broadening of horizons, and strengthening of the civic stance of individuals included in the promising personnel reserve of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The event program includes seminar and practical sessions, as well as visits to Naftan OJSC and Polotsk State University. A plenary session of the forum will be held in Novopolotsk today. Also, lecturers from the Academy of Management will conduct training sessions on professional and personal growth and career planning, the psychology of managerial decision-making, and will introduce new technologies in working with promising youth. On March 17, participants will visit Naftan OJSC and Polotsk State University.
