During this challenging time, healthcare facilities have begun to receive assistance from both the public and those engaged in private business. It is gratifying to know that business people are responding, despite the difficult situation in their own operations.

During this challenging time, healthcare facilities have begun to receive assistance from both the public and those engaged in private business. It is gratifying to know that business people are responding, despite the difficult situation in their own operations. And I can confidently say that they are doing so because they want to help, not for publicity.

Despite the economic downturn, businesses are prepared to provide feasible support to medical professionals. What they are doing is an invaluable contribution to the common good. And it is particularly pleasing to see such unity and empathy.

For instance, Vadim Evarovsky, the director of the private enterprise "Ekoikon", decided to assist the healthcare institution "Lepel Central District Hospital" and the education department of the district executive committee with personal protective equipment. He personally purchased one thousand medical masks from the Vitebsk Industrial-Pedagogical College and provided sponsorship to the hospital. In addition, 300 masks from the businessman have been sent to preschool institutions in our district.

This is not the first time Vadim Vasilyevich has assisted the education department of the district executive committee. Several years ago, the businessman, having previously discussed the quantities, purchased outerwear for children from low-income families from KUPP "Vitebchanka". Additionally, last year he hired a photographer for a photoshoot of children at the social-pedagogical centre and the centre for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation. He also purchased furniture for one of the groups at the Polsvizhsky nursery-kindergarten. Thus, it can be said that close friendly cooperation has been established between the education department of the district executive committee and the head of "Ekoikon".

Vadim Vasilyevich himself is from Vitebsk, but this does not prevent him from working on the Lepel land and participating in a good cause.

"I wish for this pandemic to end as soon as possible," says the businessman. "Knowing that medical workers are doing everything possible, we must also contribute our part."

I fully agree with Vadim Vasilyevich, as everyone can offer assistance. Even a small amount is important in this situation because it can save someone's life. Now, during this truly difficult time, much depends on ourselves.

Ilya Shendalesov, Chief Physician of the Central District Hospital, and Oksana Lyasun, Deputy Head of the Education Department of the District Executive Committee, thanked the businessman for his sponsorship and expressed their immense gratitude for his concern and active civic stance, which can significantly aid in the fight against the virus.

It is said that kindness and generosity are usually doubly rewarded. Anyone who performs acts of mercy invariably receives good recompense in their life. Many have been convinced of this truth more than once.

It is so important that we do not leave each other alone to face misfortune. In such moments, one begins to believe that everything is surmountable. That all this will soon end…
