A tragic fire occurred in the village of Yastrebeli, where 4 children died in a blaze.

This afternoon at 14:19, rescuers were informed about a fire in a residential building on Lesnaya Street in the village of Yastrebeli, Berezovsky district, Brest region. Four children, aged from 2 months to 6 years, were found dead by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) workers in the fire trap.

A 37-year-old woman (the mother of the deceased children) and her four-year-old daughter escaped from the fire.

MES workers are providing psychological assistance to the relatives of the deceased children. An operational group of the rescue department, led by Deputy Minister Anatoly Dolgolevets, is working at the fire scene.
