The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds:

The Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting prohibit:

– hunting without valid documents or with invalid ones;
– hunting using prohibited hunting tools and methods;
the carrying and/or use by hunters in hunting grounds during hunting for non-regulated species of game animals of rifled hunting firearms, hunting bows and crossbows, as well as cartridges loaded with bullets or buckshot, except for cases specified in Appendix 2 to the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting.
– in areas prohibited for hunting and other forbidden places, or at forbidden times, unless otherwise established by these Rules.

When preparing for their next trip to nature, hunters would be well advised to carefully inspect their cartridge pouch and check if the cartridges it contains comply with the rules of the upcoming hunt.

The carrying and/or use of prohibited hunting tools (including cartridges for hunting firearms) entails administrative liability in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.37 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus in the form of a fine (from 20 to 50 base units) with or without confiscation of hunting tools and deprivation of special rights.
