President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 350 "On Pension Provision for State Civil Servants" on October 1. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The document provides for the abolition from January 1, 2026, of the restriction on the payment of length-of-service pensions to working state civil servants who have reached retirement age (similar restrictions were abolished from January 1, 2025, on the amount of labour pensions for working pensioners in accordance with Decree No. 402 of October 29, 2024).

This decision was made in order to increase the interest of such civil servants in continuing their work and to more effectively utilize their professional potential in the country's economy.

The decree will allow for the establishment of uniform approaches to pension payments during employment for military and civil pensioners from among civil servants, which is consistent with the unified policy of removing restrictions on receiving earned pensions in full.
