On April 11, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. About 250 people will attend the first city gathering of volunteer detachments "On the Road of Good" in Vitebsk, the Vitebsk City Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. The event will be held on April 12 at the Vitebsk State Technological University. Among the participants are activists of volunteer detachments from primary organizations of the BRSM of schools and gymnasiums, universities, secondary vocational schools and vocational schools, pedagogical organizers of educational institutions of the city, representatives of public organizations, as well as the Volunteer Development Center and the Department of Youth Policy of the Department of Internal Policy of the Lipetsk Region of Russia. During the gathering, members of ten volunteer detachments from Vitebsk will present their areas of activity. In particular, films, videos, and performances on providing assistance to veterans, lonely elderly people, orphans, and disabled people, working on promoting a healthy lifestyle, and HIV/AIDS prevention will be presented. An important event of the gathering will be the adoption of a decision, together with volunteers from the Lipetsk region, on establishing mutual exchange of experience and intensifying contacts in carrying out volunteer activities. The event is organized by the Vitebsk City Committee of the BRSM, the Vitebsk State Technological University, and the departments of education and youth affairs and defense and mobilization work of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee. -0-
