July 22, Vitebsk /Alena Tikhonova - BELTA/. Approximately 300 state-owned real estate objects in the Vitebsk region are subject to sale at auctions this year. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Mikhail Pavlyuchkov, Director of the Vitebsk Regional Territorial Fund of State Property.
In January-June of the current year, the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund has already conducted 22 successful auctions, selling 31 real estate objects. Over Br6 billion has been transferred to budgets at various levels from the sale of state property.
"The results of the six-month period give hope that this year's profitability will significantly exceed last year's level (in 2012, 172 real estate objects were sold at 63 successful auctions for a total of over Br9 billion). This year, investors are showing greater interest in unused state property. A month ago, an unused canteen building with a canopy, located in the urban settlement of Shumilino, was sold at auction. The sale price of the real estate object was Br710 million. The property was sold for a roadside service facility (cafe, hotel)," commented Mikhail Pavlyuchkov on the state of affairs.
He also emphasized that with the entry into force of Presidential Decree No. 294 of July 4, 2012, "On the Procedure for Disposal of State Property," there has been an increase in the interest of potential buyers in objects put up for auction. Now, a buyer has the right to demolish acquired capital structures (buildings, constructions), unfinished conserved and unconserved capital structures, and to construct a new facility for entrepreneurial activities, or to demolish individual objects that are part of the acquired property and cannot be used by them for entrepreneurial activities. This norm also applies to real estate objects located within the regional center.
