On November 19, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. About a dozen cars were damaged during a fire at a service station in Vitebsk, the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed BELTA. The fire occurred on the afternoon of November 17 in a two-story service station building measuring 30 m x 30 m, owned by the Vitebsk Regional Unitary Enterprise of Auto Service and Trade of the Trade Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, located on Tereshkova Street. As a result of the fire, a painter born in 1979 received second and third-degree burns to his hands and head (15% of his body). Also, a Rover-400 passenger car manufactured in 1999 was damaged in the paint booth measuring 5 m x 15 m, and 7 other private passenger cars located in adjacent premises of the service station were smoke-damaged. The suspected cause of the fire is a violation of the technological regulations during vehicle repair work (gasoline leak from the car's fuel tank and contact with the incandescent bulb of a portable lamp). -0-
