Approximately one thousand participants will gather for a sports festival in Polotsk on March 3, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by the sports and tourism sector of the education, sports and tourism department of the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
The event will take place in the Borovukha-2 area of Polotsk. 94 teams, representing all organisations and educational institutions of the city, will start in a mass ski race. Participants will have to cover a distance of 1.5 km in freestyle, in both individual and team categories. Winners will be awarded certificates and prizes. In addition, they will receive the honorary right to represent their district at the regional competitions among organisations.
Organisers invite all fans of winter sports to feel the spirit of competition, test their strength, skill and endurance on this day. A 2 km race will be held for ski enthusiasts. The best participants will also be rewarded with prizes.
