EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2016 Belarus Award Winners Announced

The list of laureates of the international EY "Entrepreneur of the Year - 2016" competition in Belarus has been determined, the organisers informed BELTA.

Following the meeting of the independent jury with the participants of the international EY "Entrepreneur of the Year - 2016" competition in Belarus, the analysis of data provided by the participants, and the final jury meeting, a decision was made to include 18 entrepreneurs in the national stage of the competition: Liudmila Antonovskaya (Polymaster LLC), Valentin Baiko (Conte Spa SOOO), Sergey Bruy Sergey (Vayzor Games LLC), Anton Dmitriev (Otkrytaya Liniya LLC), Rostislav Krimer (RK-Group International Concert Agency LLC), Vladimir Linev (Adani UP), Konstantin Vakarchuk (Makarhuk Eye Microsurgery Centre LLC), Nikolay Mirny (Mirny Fitness Centre LLC), Vadim Prokopyev (Auguste Gusteau LLC), Alexander Semenyuk (Belsono LLC), Vladimir Sirotko (SoftClub), Denis Smyk (Belarus Export TM), Irina Soborova (Geotermatex ChPUUP), Irina Tereshchenko (Iteira GK), Igor Ufimtsev (Energiya LLC), Alexander Tsentser (A-100 GK), Ivan Chura (Top-Tour LLC), Alexander Shneerson (isoft solutions IUUP).

Pavel Lashchenko, Managing Partner of EY for Belarus and Head of the EY "Entrepreneur of the Year in Belarus" programme, reported that the number of laureates of the competition has significantly increased this year compared to 2014 (by 60%), and expressed sincere respect and gratitude to the competition participants for their initiative and courage, their aspiration to elevate the image of an entrepreneur to a new level, and for sharing their success stories. "We are pleased to note that this year's laureates are represented by very strong, established entrepreneurs who have achieved not only impressive results in their fields, but who also inspire others by their own example, create jobs, implement innovations, produce unique products, support and develop culture and sports, and improve the quality of life for Belarusians," he noted. Pavel Lashchenko said that the jury members faced a difficult task of evaluating the contestants and making decisions regarding the winners in the nominations and the overall winner of the competition. "I wish everyone fruitful, interesting work and good luck," he said.

The decision of the independent jury, namely the names of the winners in five nominations and the name of the national winner of the competition, will be announced at a formal award ceremony on December 1, 2016.

The entrepreneur who receives the title "Entrepreneur of the Year 2016" in Belarus will represent our country at the international final (EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™) in Monaco in June 2017.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ competition is one of the most prestigious international awards for entrepreneurs. It aims to recognise entrepreneurs who have created and led successful, dynamic businesses. It is held at regional, national and international levels in 145 cities in 60 countries. In Russia, the competition has been held since 2003, in Kazakhstan since 2007, and in Belarus since 2014. In Belarus, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ competition is held once every two years.
