The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has determined the locations and conditions for the commercial catching of eels without adhering to commercial size limits in fishing grounds in 2017. This is stipulated by Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources of March 27, 2017, No. 12, which was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal, BELTA reports.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has determined the locations and conditions for the commercial catching of eels without adhering to commercial size limits in fishing grounds in 2017. This is stipulated by Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources of March 27, 2017, No. 12, which was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal, BELTA reports.
The document establishes that the commercial catching of eels without adhering to commercial size limits from April 1 to May 30 in the Minsk region and from April 10 to June 8 in the Vitebsk region shall be carried out using stationary traps in the Druyka, Drisvyata, and Neshcherda rivers.
Catching eels with portable traps with mesh size of at least 16 mm is permitted in the water area of reservoirs within a radius of no more than 250 m from the mouths, sources of watercourses, or connections with other water bodies in the lakes Nobisto-Dedino, Visyaty, Uklya, Otolovo, Ikazn, Drivyaty, Strusto, Voiso, Nespesh, Boloyso, Nedrovo, Snudy, Volos Severny, Bolshiye Shkvashty, Neshcherdo, Navlitskoye, Sita, Paulskoye, Turossy, Pogoshcha, Obsterne, as well as in the Okunyovka, Raka, Druyka, Usvitsa, Drobnya, Skema, Narochanka, Smolka, Svirnitsa (Sviryanka), Myadelka, Stracha rivers and the channel between Lake Strusto and Lake Voiso.
The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
