August 5, Minsk /BELTA/. Orange hazard level has been declared in Belarus on August 6 due to thunderstorms, the Republican Centre for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Monitoring and Environmental Management of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection informed BELTA.
Friday will be cloudy. Rains are forecast, with heavy rains and thunderstorms expected at night in the south, and in the morning and afternoon in many parts of the country. Very heavy rains are expected in some areas in the west of the republic. Hail is expected in some areas in the east during the daytime. Wind of variable direction 4-9 m/s, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s in many areas.
Air temperature at night will be plus 11-18 degrees Celsius. During the day, it will range from plus 15 degrees Celsius in the northwest to 29 degrees Celsius in the southeast of Belarus.
