On June 27, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree "On Awards". 75 representatives of various fields of activity have been awarded state decorations, as reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The orders, medals and honorary titles have been conferred for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties, significant personal contribution to strengthening the defence capability of the republic and ensuring legality, development of agriculture, transport and construction industries, outstanding creative achievements, merits in healthcare, education, science, culture, arts and sports.

Thus, Vasily Gustyr, Chairman of the agricultural production cooperative "Svisloch", and Sergey Kremko, Chairman of the V.I. Kremko production cooperative, have been awarded the Order of Fatherland, III degree.

The Order "For Service to the Motherland", III degree, has been awarded to Ivan Boguslavsky, Head of the Main Military Inspectorate of the Armed Forces; Andrey Kurakov, Head of the Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces - Head of the Engineering Troops Department of the General Staff; Sergey Tomchik, Head of the Automotive Department of the Ministry of Defence; and Anatoly Khanevsky, Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Armed Forces. Igor Lyubovitsky, Judge of the Supreme Court, has been awarded the Order of Honour.

A group of military personnel has been awarded the medal "For Distinction in Military Service". Among them are Denis Bodunov, Commander of the 86th Communications Brigade; Alexey Kolyvanov, Head of the 114th Guards School for Training Warrant Officers and Food Service Specialists; and Sergey Frolov, Head of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops - Head of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops Department of the Air Force and Air Defence Command.

Investigators from various regions of the country have been awarded the medal "For Distinction in Protecting Public Order". Among them are Leonid Andrushkevich, Investigator for Particularly Important Cases of the Main Directorate for Procedural Control of the Investigative Committee; Viktor Fedosenko, Deputy Head of the USC for Grodno Region; and Alexander Protosovitsky, Head of the Investigative Department of the USC for Brest Region.
