The Information and Analytical Centre will conduct a sociological study in May-June to gauge taxpayers' opinions on the effectiveness of tax authorities' performance. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus.
The project aims to foster dialogue between economic entities and regulatory bodies. The issues addressed in the study will primarily concern the field of accounting. The Ministry of Taxes and Duties expects that the respondents' answers and comments will help improve the business climate in the country in the future.
Over 3,000 economic entities from all regions of Belarus will be randomly selected to participate in the survey. Representatives of organisations will receive questionnaires at the tax inspectorates where they are serviced. Participants will also be provided with an envelope and a special seal at the same location. After completing the questionnaire, the respondent will place it in the envelope and seal it. The sealed package guarantees the anonymity of the responses. The content of the questionnaires will only be known to the research organisation (Information and Analytical Centre).
