23 September, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The organisation of elections in Belarus can serve as an example for conducting election campaigns in France. This point of view was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by Bernard Se, a Member of the French Parliament, head of the "France-Belarus" friendship group in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, and an independent international observer. In Vitebsk, he visited polling stations No. 15, 16, 17. According to the observer, the high voter turnout indicates good organisation of the elections. The positive atmosphere is created by performances of amateur artists. "Excellent organisation of elections, which are a celebration for voters. I will definitely share this experience in France," he noted. At one of the polling stations, the independent observer met with colleagues from the observer mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR). Bernard Se noted with regret that they did not share their impressions of the voting process with him in their conversation, citing that all conclusions would be made after the elections. "I will judge the elections in Belarus by my own impressions. I have not recorded any violations of the Electoral Code. I state that no pressure is being exerted on voters. They are given complete freedom of choice. This is an example of democracy. Belarus has earned its right to make its own political choice," he stressed.-0-
