8 November, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Orsha Bakery has invested Br1.3 billion in fixed assets in January-October, the enterprise informed BELTA correspondent.
The reconstruction of the confectionery workshop has become the main project for Orsha Bakery this year. All repair work in the fully renovated premises has been completed, and the setup of new technological equipment – dough mixers, cream beaters, deck ovens, flour dispensers, and other machines – is in its final stage. Although the production capacity of the workshop will be about 1 tonne of confectionery products per month, which corresponds to the previously produced volume, there is now an opportunity to expand the product range. "The main goal of the project implementation was to improve the quality of bread and confectionery products and to enhance working conditions," specialists noted.
The launch of the modernized workshop is scheduled for the end of November, and it is planned to be put into full operation at the beginning of 2012.
In January-October, the enterprise produced products worth Br23.8 billion, or 141.9% compared to the same period in 2010. Sales profitability is 7.7%. Labour productivity over the past year increased by 39.8%, and exports by 58% to $131 thousand. Deliveries were made to Russia. The energy saving indicator for the nine months was minus 8.6%. Investments in fixed assets are expected to be Br1.4 billion by the end of the year. In 2012, a similar volume of funds is planned to be allocated for technological re-equipment.
The enterprise was founded in 1935. It is a branch of RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom". -0-
