October 9, Vitebsk /BELTA/. CJSC "Orsha Industrial and Trade Firm "Svitanak" plans to fully modernise its sewing workshops within 2014-2015, the enterprise informed BELTA.
The technical re-equipment will cover 2 sewing workshops, each with four production lines. More than 60 units of equipment are to be updated, which will be replaced with modern universal sewing machines characterised by lower energy consumption and higher efficiency. This will ultimately increase labour productivity and improve the quality of manufactured products. The replacement will be carried out according to developed schedules. The cost of this project will exceed Br2 billion. The enterprise plans to sell off the old equipment in the future and direct the proceeds towards further production development.
The modernisation of sewing workshops is only part of a comprehensive plan for re-equipping CJSC "Svitanak", specialists emphasised. Since 2011, the enterprise has undergone technical re-equipment of its key part – the experimental workshop, where the latest software for designers and pattern makers has been installed. The next stage, which also covers the current year, is the cutting workshop. The volume of investments directed into fixed capital this year alone amounts to approximately Br1.4 billion.
In January-August of the current year, the enterprise produced goods worth Br47.8 billion, or 136.6% compared to the same period in 2012. Sales profitability was 13.6%. The energy saving indicator is minus 8%. Goods worth $5.1 million, or 118.5% respectively, were shipped for export to Russia. The share of exports in the total production volume is 59.6%. The share of tolling raw materials for the enterprise as a whole is 50%.
