On December 16, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Residents of Orsha will attract good luck in the Year of the Dragon with mandalas and handmade Christmas tree decorations, the Museum Complex of History and Culture of Orshanshchina informed a BELTA correspondent. Every year, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, the museum complex staff invite citizens and guests of Orsha to participate in unusual campaigns and events related to the main winter holiday. They offer an original activity for the remaining days before the New Year - to make handmade Christmas tree toys and mandalas. Filled with their own energy, they will allow one to fully reveal their soul to the approaching Dragon and win its favour, the museum is confident. Master classes will be held on December 18 and 25 at the ethnographic museum "Mlyn". The youngest visitors and youth will, of course, be primarily offered to create a bright, colourful Christmas tree ball or any other New Year's decoration using improvised materials and imagination. Adult participants will find it more interesting to embody their inner world, accumulated life experience, and vision of the universe in a mandala - a symbolic drawing consisting of a combination of circles and squares. The sacramental image can be woven on canvas, painted with paints or pencils on paper. It unconsciously reveals desires and aspirations, reflects difficulties and fears. Thus, a mandala helps the author to better understand himself and find the key to a new level of his life. Participation in these events will not be limited to the creation of creative works. Visitors will also be able to see exhibitions of Christmas tree toys and New Year's cards from the early and mid-20th century, receive a prediction, write a wish to Ded Moroz, dance in a festive round dance, or interact with fairy-tale characters.-0-
