Today, most of the country is experiencing precipitation in the form of rain mixed with wet snow and gusty winds. Depending on the region, air temperatures range from +3 to +9°C, with the possibility of fog and icy conditions in some areas. Such weather can complicate road conditions.

When driving in conditions of poor visibility, it is necessary to switch on the low beam headlights and increase the distance to other vehicles. The high beam is not recommended, as in this case, a dense curtain of light is created in front of the car, which can blind the driver.

It is necessary to adopt a restrained driving style, avoiding sudden braking and lane changes. One of the most dangerous maneuvers is overtaking. In fog, during snowfall, and rain, it is best to refrain from it altogether. Due to the wet weather, the shoulders of rural roads often become unsuitable for pedestrian traffic. Drivers need to be prepared for pedestrians appearing on the roadway.

Pedestrians are advised to wear bright clothing, and in the dark, to use reflective elements that should be visible to drivers. Observe traffic rules, cross the road only in designated areas, having previously made sure that vehicles have stopped and are yielding.
