Therefore, another stocking of Lake Bereshcha, located in the ELOH "Barsuki", was carried out today.

3,200 two-year-old carp fry were released into the reservoir, which arrived from OJSC "Rybkhoz "Volma". The fish were transported in two special containers of a vehicle equipped with oxygen equipment, which ensured the health and viability of the fish for several hours.

The total weight of the released fish was 960 kilograms, and the average weight of each specimen was about 300 grams. Specialists emphasize that stocking with carp contributes to increasing the fish productivity of the reservoir and creating comfortable conditions for fishing. Carp are known for their rapid growth, omnivorous diet, and high demand among anglers. Their unpretentiousness and ability to adapt to various conditions make them one of the most common objects for aquaculture.

It is important to note that fishing on Lake Bereshcha is prohibited from today until November 16 inclusive. The Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve reminds that a fishing permit must be obtained for amateur fishing in this reservoir. Administrative responsibility is provided for violations of environmental legislation.

Thus, the stocking of Lake Bereshcha will not only improve the ecosystem of the reservoir but also create new opportunities for fishing enthusiasts in the future.
