To prevent gross violations of the Traffic Regulations on weekends, State Automobile Inspectorate officers will conduct operations in settlements and on highways.

Special emphasis will be placed on identifying drunk drivers and drivers without licenses, preventing violations of speed limits, maneuvering and overtaking rules, as well as monitoring the use of seat belts and motorcycle helmets by drivers and passengers, and child restraint systems.

Increased attention will be paid to the highways "Minsk-Vitebsk", "Minsk-Kalachi-Myadel", "Braslav-Postavy-Myadel", "Minsk-Molodechno-Myadel", and "Polotsk-Miory-Braslav".

The State Automobile Inspectorate urges drivers to be extremely attentive, to choose a safe speed correctly, and to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. Pedestrians, including those using personal mobility devices, should travel on cycle paths and pedestrian paths, sidewalks, and in their absence, along the roadside.

If you become aware that a vehicle is being driven by a drunk driver, or if you see a drunk pedestrian or other road user on the roadway, please report it immediately by calling 102.
