A dialogue platform was organised at the educational institution today, with the upcoming presidential election in the Republic of Belarus, a key political event of the next year, as its main theme.

  For the senior students from the college, this meeting was significant and timely, as they will be participating as voters for the first time in January 2025.

  As the head of the district noted, this event will be a step into adulthood for them, a stage where indifference and detachment have no place. Only confidence, thoughtfulness, and care for their native country matter. How can this be demonstrated? Undoubtedly, by participating in the elections.

  Following an established tradition, the head of the district also dedicated time to the students in an informal, open discussion. The youth asked various questions, ranging from the chairman's recollections of his first presidential election vote to the management approaches that the head of the district and his colleagues adhere to.

  Interestingly, about a third of the students in the audience are from out of town, making it particularly interesting for them to learn something new about Lepel from the district head.

  - I sincerely congratulate you, dear students, on your new status as voters. I truly hope that you will actively participate in the political life of our country and take an interest in the processes occurring within our state. This will enable you to become conscious citizens and true patriots of your country. Then you will be able to determine your own future.
