Master classes were held at the Vitebsk State University as part of the Republican Festival "Vitebsk – Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus – 2022", conducted by the teaching staff and students of VSU. The event was attended by members of the public republican student council, representatives of student trade union committees of higher education institutions, secretaries of primary organisations of the BRSM NGO of higher education institutions, young ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals, chairpersons of self-governance bodies of secondary vocational education institutions, working youth, young parliamentarians and scientists, finalists of the republican competition "Student of the Year", vice-rectors of higher education institutions for educational work, and youth specialists.

In the main building of VSU, representatives of the faculties conducted master classes on various topics. These included: "Forensic Laboratory", "Intellectual Quiz on International Law", "Calligraphy Master Class", "Chinese Painting Master Class", "Tea Ceremony", "Vector of Kindness", "Personal Brand", "Belarusian Gold", "Magic of Ceramics", "Project Presentation in a Virtual Environment", "Secret of the Celestial Empire", "Let's Dance Together", "VR Quest".
For example, students of the Faculty of Humanities and Language Communications prepared an engaging programme, where they spoke about the traditions of the tea ceremony, the specifics of Chinese writing, and also provided an opportunity to try their hand at calligraphy. Within the framework of the masterclass "Forensic Laboratory," courses on fingerprint analysis were held. Participants of the event received a boost of positive emotions, gained experience from their colleagues, and were inspired for new creative achievements.
The programme of the Republican Festival "Vitebsk - Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus - 2022" continued with a visit to the Yanka Kupala National Academic Drama Theatre.
