The Department for the Protection of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve has summed up the results of its work for 7 months of the year.

During patrols of the nature reserve and the adjacent hunting grounds "Barsuki" and "Berezina" from January to July of the current year, inspectors conducted 226 raid operations. In the course of these operations, 90 administrative offenses were identified (including 27 violations of fishing rules), administrative fines totaling 15,488 Belarusian rubles were imposed, claims for damages totaling 14,713 Belarusian rubles were filed, 1 instance of criminal offenses was identified, and 7 illegal devices were discovered and seized.
