Culture Worker's Day is a holiday for writers and poets, artists and performers, musicians and singers, museum, gallery, and library staff, and participants of creative groups.
To congratulate people of creative professions, art figures, keepers of cultural heritage, and all those connected with this sphere of activity in one way or another, the following attended: Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Igor Urban, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Veronika Khomback, Head of the Culture Department of the District Executive Committee Elena Borodeiko.
The traditional award ceremony was also held, during which well-deserved awards were presented to the best of the best.
Today is all about them, because it is cultural workers who annually hold thousands of events, create unique works of art, and implement bright, large-scale projects that reflect the historical and modern stages of the country's development, the customs and traditions of the people, and represent the Belarusian nation on the world cultural stage.
Young specialists who started working in the district's cultural sphere this year were also welcomed on stage.
