Leonid Alexandrovich has done a great deal of work in developing one of the types of Belarusian folk art – artistic wood processing. His wooden sculptures are characterised by a creative style and originality.
He is a participant of the folk club of amateur artists "Kontur".
He is a regular participant of the festival-competition for artistic wood processing "Relief Fantasy" within the framework of the exhibition-fair of folk crafts and arts "Zadzvinski Kirmaš" during the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".
The precision and expressiveness of forms, plasticity, conciseness, compactness, and most importantly – clearly expressed national characteristics make his works interesting and traditional.
