The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds that hunting for the common snipe has been open since the second Saturday of July, namely from July 9, 2022. Animals of any sex and age are subject to harvesting. The permitted hunting time is daylight hours. Permitted hunting methods include: shotgun hunting from a stalk, only with hunting dogs, as well as a non-shotgun method. Permitted hunting implements include smooth-bore hunting firearms using cartridges loaded with shot, and hunting dogs: pointers, spaniels, retrievers.
