The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds that from the third Saturday of September to the second Sunday of December, hunting for the white-fronted goose, bean goose, grey goose, and Canada goose is open. Hunting is permitted during daylight hours. Permitted hunting methods include: by firearm from approach, from ambush, from approach by small vessels,

smoothbore hunting firearms using cartridges loaded with shot; hunting dogs: all breeds except sighthounds and hounds. Small vessels without an engine or with a non-operational engine.
