The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds that hunting for roe deer opens from May 15 to September 30. Adult males, and selective animals of any sex and age are subject to harvesting. Permitted hunting methods: rifle hunting from ambush or stalking during the day. Permitted hunting weapons: rifled hunting weapons with a muzzle energy of over 1500 joules, smooth-bore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with bullets or buckshot, hunting bows and crossbows.
