The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds that from May 15 to September 30, hunting for roe deer and fallow deer is open. The following are subject to harvesting: roe deer: adult males, selective animals of any sex and age; fallow deer: animals of any sex and age. Permitted hunting methods: rifle hunting from ambush or stalking during the day. Permitted hunting implements: rifled hunting weapons with a muzzle energy of over 1500 joules, smooth-bore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with bullets or buckshot, hunting bows and crossbows.
