The Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora informs that from June 9, anglers are permitted to use the following gear and methods for amateur fishing in fishing grounds:
fly fishing, float, nod, and bottom fishing rods of all types, spinning rods;
circle hooks, setlines, tip-ups, floats, and other similar systems and tackle;
spearguns and spearguns for underwater hunting, firing a harpoon with a tip of no more than five prongs (only during underwater hunting);
landing nets with a diameter of no more than 0.5 metres and a mesh size of less than 10 millimetres, and dip nets not exceeding 1x1 metre in size and with a mesh size of less than 10 millimetres for catching fish as bait for catching other species;
gaffs with a hook width (distance from shank to point) not exceeding 9 centimetres and nets for lifting fish caught by permitted gear from the water;
fishing with simultaneous use of fishing gear of one or different types with a total number of hooks not exceeding 5 per angler;
Anglers are permitted to:
catch no more than 5 kilograms of fish per angler per day, and one fish if the total weight including its weight exceeds 5 kilograms, or one fish weighing more than 5 kilograms;
catch no more than 30 fish per angler per day for use as bait for catching other species.
Anglers are prohibited from:
fishing with prohibited gear and methods;
fishing with double and treble hooks without lures, natural or artificial bait;
fishing from vessels during night hours;
fishing with simultaneous use of fishing gear of one or different types with a total number of hooks exceeding 5 per angler;
fishing using circle hooks, setlines, tip-ups, floats, and other similar systems and tackle at night, as well as without indicating the angler's surname and initials;
fishing within 50 metres of designated commercial fishing gear;
fishing from railway and other bridges, dams, spillways
gateways, pumping stations, other hydraulic structures, in respect of which restrictions and prohibitions on economic or other activities are established, and within a distance of 50 meters in both directions from the boundaries of the said technical structures;being in fishing grounds or on the adjacent territory within a distance of up to one kilometer from the shoreline of fishing grounds with prohibited fishing gear and (or) fish, the catching of which is prohibited in this area and at this time, or whose weight exceeds the established norms, without documents confirming the legality of fish possession.
