This was announced at a press conference by Deputy Minister of Forestry Nikolai Yushkevich, BELTA correspondent reports.
"As soon as the fire hazard class decreases and we understand that there will be no problems from such a decision, we will immediately adjust the dates," said Nikolai Yushkevich.
The Deputy Minister also emphasized that the department's competence is only to postpone the opening date of the hunting season, the dates themselves will not be changed. The Ministry of Forestry will announce the start of the hunting season separately.
Recall that traditionally the hunting season begins on the first Saturday of August (this year it is August 7) and lasts until the second weekend of December. -0-
