The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for Wildlife Protection reminds that from 01.10.2020 to 31.12.2020, hunting for elk, wild boar, roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, sika deer, and mouflon is open. Animals of any sex and age are subject to harvesting. Permitted hunting methods: driven hunt with firearms and dogs, ambush, stalking. Permitted hunting weapons for elk, red deer, fallow deer, sika deer, and adult wild boar over two years of age: rifled hunting weapons with a muzzle energy of over 3000 joules, smoothbore hunting weapons using slugs, hunting bows and crossbows. For roe deer and wild boar under 2 years of age: rifled hunting weapons with a muzzle energy of over 1500 joules, smoothbore hunting weapons using slugs or buckshot, hunting bows and crossbows. Hunting dogs: breeds as decided by the hunting grounds user.
The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for Wildlife Protection also reminds that citizens will be held liable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus for violating the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting.
