29 September, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Prosecutor of Vitebsk region Gennady Dysko, who was dismissed due to the terrorists' case, has been reinstated in his position by order of Prosecutor General Alexander Konyuk, BELTA was informed by the Prosecutor General's Office. Senior Justice Counsellor Gennady Dysko was relieved of his duties as Prosecutor of Vitebsk region in August in connection with the investigation of the terrorist attack in the Minsk metro on 11 April 2011 and the preceding explosions in Vitebsk and Minsk, as well as the causes and circumstances of their commission. As explained then by the Prosecutor General's Office, he did not properly organise the work on the investigation of the explosions in Vitebsk in September 2005. Dysko failed to ensure systematic supervision over the preliminary investigation of the criminal case concerning the explosions of explosive devices in Vitebsk and over the enforcement of legislation during the operational-search activities carried out by internal affairs bodies in the course of investigating these crimes. This allowed the criminals to evade responsibility and ultimately led to the tragedy in the Minsk metro.-0-
