According to data as of the morning of October 6, 1.306 million hectares of winter grain crops have been sown against a plan of 1.456 million hectares. Sowing has been completed in the Brest region. In the Minsk region, 313.2 thousand hectares have been sown (91%), in the Vitebsk region - 194.6 thousand hectares (84.2%), in the Grodno region - 182.8 thousand hectares (92.8%), in the Gomel region - 180.6 thousand hectares (75.8%), in the Mogilev region - 200 thousand hectares (95%).
Grain and leguminous crops (including corn) have been harvested from 2.14 million hectares (90.7% of the planned area). 6.58 million tons of grain have been threshed. The Minsk region leads in terms of threshed grain with over 1.6 million tons. It is followed by the Brest region with over 1.2 million tons, and the Grodno region with over 1.1 million tons. In the Mogilev region, 868.5 thousand tons have been threshed, in the Gomel region - 831.7 thousand tons, and in the Vitebsk region - 788.9 thousand tons.
